Great place to RV! Clean, quite, well-preserved state park in the heart of Thurmond Lake! Pontoon rentals were reasonably priced and my boys had a wonderful time tubing on the lake. I am a Tennessee boy and would have never thought I would find a river this nice! We will be looking forward to coming back!

Fun place to have a get together with family and friends. Cabins are modernized. You have to see for yourself. I'd change the bed sheets to a softer material but overall they were ok. The park and cabins have everything you'd ever need for an enjoyable weekend, all you need to bring is the food and you.

Lovely park on the shores of a beautiful lake. An inexpensive $5.00 per car for access. Several large, covered picnic areas, miniature golf, a gift shop, convenient bathrooms and playgrounds, boatng slips, a historic, very interesting Revolutionary War home on property and free of charge.

Very nice, family friendly park. Every site is close to the lake. You can enter the lake from any point. Lots of RVs and boater, less tents when we were there. Showers in bathrooms. Staff friendly. Nice playgrounds and putt putt area. They don't have trash cans near sites - you have to use bathroom trash can or dumpster. Beautiful scenery.

One of our favorite locations for camping. Facilities are clean and modern. Did a fly over in my amphibian plane attached a few pics.
